Happy Birthday

Good morning all, and happy Friday. Hope you are all well today and looking forward to the weekend. I know I am. I've not been well for a couple of days so went to the doc yesterday and have a bad throat infection, so 10 days of antibiotics should do the trick ugh! But if they help then I'll take them lol.

Anyway today's card is another male one. I made this for my uncle for his birthday last week, as I wanted to use my new Happy Birthday die again :o)

I was looking for something to go with the die cut when I came across some decoupage images that we had picked up some time ago on one of our craft shop outings. Mum had spotted them and thought they would be nice for a card for Dad as they feature cars from the sixties.

Only when it came to dad's birthday I forgot all about them lol. But anyway they have come in handy for his brother lol. They are pyramid decoupage toppers which are a bit fiddly to line up but still nice.

I teamed the topper with the Happy Birthday die cut from black Core-dinations card and mounted them on a plain white DL card blank. Then I just added a few flat backed pearls to finish it off.

A really quick and simple but still quite effective card. Hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by today.

See you soon.
