Painted Poppies

Good morning folks, hope you are having a good week. The days are positively flashing past now on the run up to Christmas. I swear December is speeded up somehow lol.

Right, today's card is one I made using the lovely Painted Poppy set from Altenew. It's another of their colour layering stamp sets and I think it is soooo pretty.

I decided to give it a go on some light Kraft card using the Altenew Crisp Dye inks.

They stamp beautifully, and are so easy to use. I then added Glossy Accents to the centres to make them really shine.

For the sentiment I went with the Altenew Halftone Smile set. It comes with a couple of different Smile stamps and then lots of other add-on sentiments.

I think these stamps are lovely for all sorts of occasions, we also have one called Halftone Hello which I haven't used yet. As this card was for a birthday, I used the Smile set on the front and then I added a happy birthday stamp to the inside.

Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you soon.
