Stop the Clock.....

Good morning all,

I've been playing again, and although they may not be great I am enjoying getting a bit inky. I can't do the really inky/grungy stuff but I thought this little fob watch stamp matched perfectly with a little topper from the Wellington range.

I do love Wellington and his friends, they are really cute. But like a lot of the stash I have I don't really know what to do with the small pieces from packs. But as you need to see quite a lot of the background on this card it works well I think.

I used an A6 fancy shaped card blank, and inked round the edges with a brown metallic ink. I then stamped the fob watch all over the card in a random sort of pattern making sure some went different ways, and off the edge of the paper. I stamped these in a brown Memento ink. Then I used a little of each of the inks to age the paper a bit. Not too much but I was happy with this.

Then all it needed was a little contrasting die cut shape and the small topper, a little tag and it was all finished. I think it turned out as a really nice simple card for a little boy.

What do you think?

See you all tomorrow.
