A new week and a new knee

Today our Mum is having an operation to replace her left knee.  She has suffered over the last few years and has been waiting quite a while to get both knees replaced.  Now it's happened so quickly.  She only saw her surgeon last week to sign the consents for treatment and he gave her the operation date straight away!  We were stunned to say the least.
She's understandably nervous about the op and having a spinal block, but she is taking some music to listen to to help calm her nerves.  As long as she doesn't try line dancing to it she should be fine lol!

I have made a card to put beside her bed, just to remind her that we are all thinking of her and praying for a speedy recovery.  That's for our benefit as much as hers, because if she can't get back dancing soon she will be unbearable to live with :)

Mum usually reads the blog every morning so hopefully she will see this before she has the procedure.  I just want to say - Good luck Mum!  All will be fine!  We are all thinking of you, and sending our love and prayers for a fuss free replacement and a quick recovery!! We love you!!!

Now on to the card ;)  This is made using an Avery Elle set called More Stories, which we have wanted for a while.

I love the little fox and wanted to do something quite simple with him.  I saw a card on Pinterest that I  used as inspiration.

I also took a sheet of good double sided paper and made a matching envelope.

The We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board makes this so easy to do.

Hope you like it.
