Panda Anniversary

Good morning all and Happy New Year's Eve. Can you believe that we are on the verge of 2016?. That's another year that has absolutely flashed past, with it's ups and downs, good times and bad times, tears and laughter. But I'm grateful for every one of them that I get to spend with the people I love.

Today would have been mum and dad's 49th wedding anniversary, so it will be a sad day again, but we are all spending it doing the things we like to do and with the people we want to spend time with, so I know that dad would wholeheartedly approve.

Anyway today's card is one I made for a young couple who celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary earlier this month.

I used the Pandamonium set from Mama Elephant and layered them on to a Marianne Designs postage stamp die cut.

Then I used red, black and silver card for the layers and cut a paper bow with the red card.

I teamed a Britannia die with a Cheery Lyn die for the sentiment. Then added a few stamped hearts to finish it off.

Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you next year 'o))

Merry Christmas to a special couple

As Christmas is now over I won't subject you to an endless amount of cards.  Instead I thought I'd batch them up as I can then move on to the new stuff.

These are all cards made for Jen and Alan.
This is mine.

This is Mum's.

And this is John's.

Hope you like them.

Foiled again

Good morning folks, I really hope that each and every one of you had a great Christmas and got to spend time with those you love.

I had a brilliant time, spent with my family and loved every minute.

These are a few more of the cards that I made using my new Minc machine.

As you can see I personalised a couple for friends,

and added stamping to some too.

A  bit of designer paper and couple of die cut pieces also finished some off.

I must say this is one of my most loved crafty items at the moment, the possibilities are endless and thanks to Jude I have some more foils and accessories to use with it, so I'm off to play again.

Take care and I'll see you soon.

Cool cat

This is a card made with December's Simon Says Stamp card kit.

I started by stamping the cat and presents. These and the snow bank were masked off then I added a layered ink background using shades of green pink and purple.

The cat and presents were masked using Molotow art masking liquid which rubs off with a pencil eraser.  I then coloured them with Copic markers.

I cut the panel down and matted it with green card.  The stars and sentiment are puffy stickers which come in the kit.

The card is based on one of those on the inspiration sheet included with the kit.

Merry Christmas Everyone

Good morning folks and a very Merry Christmas to you all.

I hope you all have a wonderful day spent with friends, family and loved ones and get to do exactly what you wish.

No write up about the cards today, just a few examples of the ones we've been making with my new foiling machine.

Hope you like them, take care and we'll see you all soon.

You're like no one elf!

It's Christmas Eve - woo hoo!  And just when you thought you'd seen the last of them - here come the elves again! lol!

I had a couple of these little fellows left so decided to use them up on some simple cards.  One is for my eldest son and the other is for my brother from Mum.

The sentiment is made up using a couple of different stamp sets.  Using the wonderful MISTI made lining them up a doddle.
I LOVE the MISTI!!

Hope you like them.

Merry Christmas! Jude xx

Magic of Christmas

Good morning folks, not long now to Christmas, at last I'm starting to feel a little festive ;o))

This little card is one I sent to a friend in America, I used the Lavinia stamp set again for the image. I stamped them with Versamark ink, and then heat embossed with white and silver embossing powder.

Then I added the sentiment from a stamp set that came free with a magazine.

I love the contrast with black card and white embossing powder.

Hope you like it too, take care and I'll see you soon.

Cat

Hello again everyone.  Ready for Christmas?  I'm just about there but need to get some wrapping done pronto, otherwise I'll still be at it Christmas Eve! Lol!

It may only be 3 days to Christmas but I don't have a Christmas card to share.  Instead this is another from Jen's birthday.

My daughter is called Cat so I chose this beautifully gold foiled cat image for her card to her Auntie Jen.  I'm not sure but I think it's from a Hunkydory set.

I chose a script background paper and a foiled sheet.  I then raised the cat image on foam tape before adding the heart and a sentiment.

This was a very quick little card and I love the shine on it.  Hope you do too.

From our home to yours

Good morning all, and welcome to Christmas week. Are you ready for it??? I know I'm not lol.

Today's cards are a few I made using a lovely little set from Clearly Besotted Stamps, Called Home at Christmas.

I stamped the house and sentiment that comes with it using Versamark ink and then Heat embossed it with a few different colours.

Then I picked out some complimentary card stock colours and added them to these little card blanks that I picked up at the last Ross Papercraft Show.

They are all very simple but made different by either the colours or the use of ribbon, or for the red and black one I cut the house out by hand and raised it with foam tape on the card front.

Super quick and easy to make a few, which is great when you need a lot of cards!

Hope you like them, take care and I'll see you soon.

Sister

Friday again and my last day in work until the new year! Yeaaahhh!!

I have the last of Jen's birthday cards for the week.  This was made for our brother John to give to her.  I used the same colour scheme as for my card.  The peachy pink and grey work well together.

I used a circle sentiment die by Simon Says Stamp, double layered for depth.

I kept the layout simple so as not to overwhelm the sentiment.  Hope you like it.

We wish you a merry Christmas

Good morning, hope you are all well and looking forward to Christmas. Today's cards are another two I made using the same sentiment stamp.

The sentiment is from a Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous set called Handwritten Holidays 2.

I stamped the first one with Black pigment ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

Then I used a Memento Dewdrop ink in Pearlescent Sky Blue to stamp some snowflakes around the greeting.

For the second card I used the blue ink to stamp the greeting and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

Then I used a Lawn Fawn background stamp called Snowy Backdrops to stamp all around the card with Versamark Ink.

Then I heat embossed it with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. Two very simple cards but still pretty.

Hope you like them, take care and I'll see you soon.
