Wedding day

Good morning all. Well that was a full on weekend lol! with weddings and birthdays we didn't stop, but we had a really great time and I know Mum and Lily May really enjoyed their party's.

Today's card is one that I made for the bride and groom on Friday. I really like this card so hope you do too.

I started with the topper which is a decoupage piece from the Humphrey's Corner 'A year with' pack. I made this up using silicone glue and then matted it on to a piece of co-ordinating card.

I picked a couple of papers from the Prima Botanicals collection as they had similar tones to the topper.

I layered the papers with cardstock and a doily and then added the topper.

For the decoration I used some rose ribbon which I bought in Fred Aldous a few weeks ago. Then I also used some sheer pink ribbon and a diamante heart buckle.

The little heart is from the Docrafts Vintage Notes collection,

and the ribbon roses and rose buds are from my stash.

I also found a couple of little gold rings to use so added these with a white bow.

I finished the card with a couple of sentiments and some pearls.

Hope you like it too.

Thanks for stopping by today.

See you soon
