Farewell school transport

Well it's finally here! Joe moves in to his new home today and a new life chapter begins for us both.  For me this will be the first time I've lived alone for 24 years - but that will only be for a short while as I am moving in with Jen and Alan in a week or so.  They won't know what hit them lol.

Anyway there are a lot of people to thank for getting us to this point so I've had to think about where to start.  As today is the last time for his school transport driver and escort to take him to school, I figured they should be first.  I've commissioned Jen to make a couple of gifts which she will no doubt share later in the week.

My cards are both very similar.  I've used the same layout just altered them for different people.  I took two A4 pieces of pre-printed Hunkydory card stock and folded them to make A5 cards.

This one is for the driver, Bill.

This one is for Margaret, the escort.

I added embellishments to the bottom left corner - green blitters for Bill and rolled flowers for Margaret.

I stamped the sentiments on patterned paper and cut out using a circle die.  This was layered on to darker cardstock cut with Spellbinders ornate circles.

I really like these cards and although they follow the same recipe the end results are quite different.  Hope you like them.
