Happy Birthday Mum

Good morning all, yes today is Mum's birthday and she has reached the grand YOUNG age of 65!!! She isn't just the best mum in the world! she is also the best wife, grandma, great grandma, supporter, confidant, baby sitter, dog sitter, friend and everything else that she does for everyone of us. So she deserves the very best birthday too.

 

We aren't doing a lot today as everyone is at work etc. but we are getting together this evening to give pressies and have some cake. But then the special event is on Saturday when we are having a party in a local hall for mum and dad (he had his 65th a couple of weeks ago). All of her friends have been invited so hopefully she will have a lovely time. So happy birthday mum, we love you very very much Mwahhh. :o))

 

These are a couple of the cards that I have made for mum from different people, hope you like them.

 

 

This is a Besties digi image coloured with Promarkers.

 

I covered the bath with 3d clear gloss to give it a bit of a shine.

 

I love this little flower. Don't know where the silver ones came from but I just have a card with a few on. So i layered it with a paper flower, a button and a gem. Then a added a swirly bit of bling.

 

I finished the card with a simple ready made sentiment.

 

This next one is very simple.

 

Just a decoupage topper made up with silicone glue, and then matted on to card.

 

I inked the embossed background with Distress Inks and added a piece of co-ordinating paper.

 

I finished this card with some sheer white ribbon, a stamped sentiment and a few pieces of bling.
