Hap-Bee Birthday

Good morning folks, hope you have had a good weekend and for those of us with the extra day, hope you enjoyed your Bank Holiday too :)

Today's card is one I made for my youngest granddaughter who turned 5 on Sunday. We had a lovely day in the garden having a BBQ, and she was thoroughly spoilt as usual.

I started by cutting lots of strips of coordinating papers and sticking them side by side on a piece of plain card. Then I used the Go-Kreate large scalloped hearts die to cut the heart shape.

I raised this onto a 6 x 6 plain white card blank and then cut a little Sizzix bee from gold card, and coloured some black stripes along the top.

I added a small scalloped circle punch, and a smaller star to put the number 5 on which is from the MFT Starlight Numbers set.

Then I printed a sentiment with our label maker, backed it with yellow card and added it in the corner.

Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you soon.

Bee happy

Good morning all, hope you are having a good week.

Today's card is one I made using some new papers from a Pebbles Inc pad called Garden Party that I bought a few weeks ago in TK Maxx.

I love this bee and honeycomb paper so I thought I had better get to it before Jude did ;o))

I used my little Sizzix Bee die again on gold card and then coloured in some black lines.

Then I added the sentiment using Doodlebug ABC's.

I backed it all with black card and then added an inner paper and stamped Happy Birthday on to it.

This was the card that I sent to our little brother for his birthday on Sunday.

Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you soon.

Bee mine?

Good morning all, hope you are well and looking forward to a good week. As we are in full wedding prep mode around here I'm trying to do a few quick cards until I can show some of the wedding ones lol.

So this card was made using scraps of paper and card that were on my desk. I stuck the strips on to a plain piece of card from my scraps box and then cut the heart using the Sizzix scalloped hearts on an angle.

Then I used my little Sizzix Bee die and cut it out using gold embossed card, and coloured in some black lines with an alcohol pen.

I couldn't find a sentiment I liked to match so I made my own with the Dymo  label maker.

I used a 6 x 6 card blank and raised the heart on foam strips.

A really simple but cute valentines card, hope you like it. Take care and I'll see you soon.
