Altered Clock

Good morning all, hope you are well and having a good week. I managed to finish my clock project at the weekend, after a little trip to the shops with Jude to purchase a boat. And I am glad to say, that my niece (who the clock was for) loved it.

I am rubbish at remembering to take photos of the before though. So you will just have to imagine what it looked like when it was just plain plywood. Lol. But this is how it looks now.

I love all of the little decorations on it. But I especially love Tilda climbing up to the boat. She was a late addition but I think she works well lol. The seashells came back with me from Southerness! I know it's naughty but there were only a few ;o))

The boat just finished the clock off nicely. Stuck on the top courtesy of my hot glue gun.

What do you think? Hope you like it too.

Thanks for stopping by again, see you soon.

Anniversary wishes

Good morning hope everyone is having a good week. Today's card is another that I made for my daughters anniversary.

I started with the pink paper as I thought it was lovely. It's from the Random collection 12x12 from Crate Paper. I used a coordinating paper from the same pad for the clock and backed it with some graphic 45 embossed card in a matching grey.

I added some coordinating ribbon and some of the roses and lace roll. Then I stamped the sentiment using London Fog Memento ink and cut it out with a Sizzix die. I distressed the paper with Tattered Rose DI and then added some more ribbon and a couple of little bows. I then added some shabby white Frantage over the top.

I added it all to an 8x8 scalloped edge card blank and inked all of the edges with DI.

Hope you like it, have a great day. See you soon.

Another thank you

Hello again. Hope you're having a good week.

Joe finally got moved in on Monday and it went well. He seems to be settling in and making friends with all the staff. Lets hope it continues.

I'm still packing the house for my move but I might have to hold off while I get all the cards I need made this week.

We have 2 birthdays, a wedding and Father's Day this week. I really need to get cracking but before I do there is another thank you to do.

This one is for the social worker who helped us get the finances sorted.  He had a lot of work to do to transfer what we wanted into a format that the panel would accept and agree to.

The clock face is a Tim Holtz die which I love.  The sentiment is another from Hunkydory layered on gold mirror card and brown core-dinations.

I also added a matching insert.

I hope he will like it. Thanks Richard!

Better late than never!

Good morning, hope you are all well today. I finally have pics of Dad's birthday cards from last week so I can share them with you. They are all very simple but different too. Dad liked them all so hope you do too.

This one is made with Kanban Toppers and borders.

This one is an old favourite Wellington...

...and the inside.

I still love Boofle, he really is great for men's cards.

This one is Hot Diggity, all of these 3 ranges are made by Docrafts.

And finally a Kanban postcard and topper with a small clock face charm.

Like I said, all really simple cards, but sometimes I think that's the best way lol.

Thanks for stopping by today, see you soon.
