Mojo Monday 361

Morning all.

This card was made for Kay and Ian's wedding anniversary, using this week's sketch from Mojo Monday.

What do you think?

The image is another Lili of the Valley design and the papers are from my stash.

I wanted a decent sized sentiment but couldn't find anything I liked, until I came across this heart.  Unfortunately the edging was blue but a cocoa promarker soon took care of that problem.

You can't tell it was ever blue, can you?

So that's my card.  I am entering it into the Mojo Monday challenge, so wish me luck.

Little boy blue

Hello again and welcome to September!
Today I have another simple male card to share.

This is a Lili of the Valley image from their Art Pad set 5, Action Time.

I layered three different blue papers and lightly distressed all the edges.

The sentiment is also LOTV.

I added my layers to a 6 x 6 card blank.

Hope you like it.

Flower girl

Hurrah for Saturday!  It has been really busy at work this week and I am so looking forward to the weekend.

I made this little card based on a similar layout in a magazine - that one had 5 banners and an oval topper which I may try another time.

The image is another of the LOTV art pads on a scalloped circle.  I took coordinating papers and cut the banners, then mounted them on white card matted onto pale blue.

I used a Tonic punch to create the pattern strip but unfortunately it doesn't show up very well behind the topper.

I wrapped a strip of ribbon across the top and added a bow to the left.

I like the colours on this; red and blue work really nicely together.  Hope you like it too.

Note book

Hello again.  I bring another non-card post to you today.  There are lots of pictures so be warned lol.

When we were on the Dabble Day a couple of weekends ago, we made a to do list book.  Using the same idea I made a little note book for storing passwords, email addresses and notes when I'm out and about.

The first step was to cut the paper to size and glue it together.

I put plain at the front and pre-printed at the back.

I folded the card and decorated the front with paper scraps, ribbon and lace.

I also made a pocket for the front inside cover and decorated the inside back.

I added the label from sticky backed lettering and scribbled around the edge to outline it.

I then glued all the pages inside the cover.

Once the glue dried I added an image from the Lili of the Valley art pads and mounted it on a turquoise die cut.

I tied it up with ribbon, et voilà, a handbag sized note book.

That's all for today.  TTFN Jude xx

On your bike, Joe!

Hurrah for Friday!  Only one more day at work then it's the weekend.  Woo hoo!!

Jen and I are on a Dabble Day at a local school tomorrow.  We will be getting all inky/painty with the lovely Hels Sheridan.  I can't wait :)

Today's card is the one I made for my daughter to send to her little brother on Monday.

This is another LOTV art pad image layered with papers from the Festive Spots and Stripes range.

I used the trusty Happy Birthday stamp again.

I picked this as Joe had a bright red physio bike when he was younger.

Hope you like it.  TTFN Jude xx

Daniel Craig

Oh dear, it's Wednesday, it's April, and you have me again - poor you lol!

My brother John has quite a few godchildren (7!) and today is the birthday of one of them.  Daniel Craig Whiteley is the eldest son of John's best friend, Craig, and he is 6 today.

John is always on the last hop when it comes to cards and presents and this year is no different.  This is a card I made John at the weekend, after I'd been to fetch Daniel's birthday presents for him!!

The little cowboy dude comes from a Lili of the Valley art pad again.  I love these images.

I layered papers on to a 6 x 6 blank and added the topper.

The sentiment is from another LOTV pad.

I'm hoping Daniel will like his card.
