Raise the flag

Morning again.  Hope you are keeping well.

 

I returned to my Hunkydory kits for today's cards.  Yep I have 3 cards to share.  This set is called Raise the Flag and shows floral versions of the British flag.

 

I used the topper set and the matching card stock along with ribbon and card from my stash.  All three cards are very different as I wanted to show that although these are ready made toppers, you can still be creative in how they are used.

Ian's birthday

Morning all.  Today my niece's husband Ian, celebrates the last birthday of his twenties - next year the big 30 lol!

I made him a couple of cards but this is the one my daughter chose to give him.

This is a very easy card to make in theory.  A bit of stamping and embossing, some washi tape and a length of string - easy peasy right?  Errr no!

Folding the washi tape flags was quite fiddly.  I couldn't get the edges to line up properly but at least the tape is repositionable.

The sentiment is an IndigoBlu stamp inked with bright blue pigment ink and finished with clear embossing powder.
