Christmas Cabin

Today I want to share a simple Christmas card made up with stamps from two different sets.

The house is from a stamp magazine collection I got last Christmas, while the trees, snow and greeting are from a Simon Says Stamp set.

I coloured the images with Copics and added some glitter glue.

I should have masked the trees off to layer them so as to get a better scene, but they turned out ok.

The Simon Says Stamp sentiment works really well here and is stamped directly on to the card using black archival ink. 

I might try a night sky version of this but I'll need to practice a bit more first!

Sailboat Luka

Morning everyone it's Monday again. Yesterday saw the end of BST, so the dark nights are really on us from now on.  Winter is on it's way, lol!!

Today's card is made using Luka with Sailboat from La La Land Crafts.  This is a fabulous rubber stamp Jen bought last weekend.

I coloured him with the recommended Copics (with a few substitutions) but it didn't turn out too badly.  I am especially happy with his hair and sweatshirt.

This die has been used a lot lately but it is just so good!  I added in a lamp post and ticket dies as extra embellishments and used 2 designer papers from Basic Grey.
