Friends are gifts

Hello all, apologies for the very late blog today, we are currently decorating and reorganising the house as well as doing the garden and working lol, so sometimes things are a bit late ;o))

Anyway, today's card is very simple. I took a digital image from an old Complete Cardmaking Kit from June 2013 and printed it to fit an 8 x 8 card.

I coloured the image with Copic markers, sticking to a quite neutral palette.

Then I backed it with some cream shiny card and added it to the card blank.

Simple! Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you tomorrow.

Happy birthday JP

Good morning all, today is our little brother's birthday. He has always been known as JP, but his Sunday name is John and today our baby brother will be 34! lol.

Today's card is the one I have made for Mum to give to him. As you can imagine this birthday won't be the easiest as it's the first without Dad, so I wanted to make something that was just cute and would make him smile.

The image is from the latest Complete Cardmaking CD, printed on to good quality card stock and cut out with Spellbinders Labels 29.

I kept the rest of the card really simple using some pale blue checked paper.

The sentiment came with the image and I thought it was just perfect for today.

I cut it out with a Spellbinders tag die and then finished the card with a pale blue pearl and some blue and white bakers twine.

Hope you like it, thanks for dropping by again.

See you soon, take care.
