Anniversary mum

Good morning all, I hope you are all having a good start to the week. Today's card is the one I made for Mum to send to Cat and Jamie for their 1st anniversary last month.

I went stamp happy on this one lol and used a stamp set from Studio Calico to stamp all over a piece of Kraft card using Versamark in. Then I covered it all with Cosmic Shimmer True White embossing powder and heat set it.

I cut the panel down to cover an A5 red card blank and layered it with some white card.

I used a small piece of red polkadot paper for the front and then stamped a panel of Kraft card with an MFT Stamps Happy stamp and a Simon Says Stamp Anniversary stamp. Again I used Versamark and True White embossing powder.

I put all the card together and then used a piece of ribbon roses across the front. To finish it off I added red and white pearls to the centre of each rose.

Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you soon.

Double take

Good morning all. Hope you are well.

Today's card is made using one of our older Saturated Canary images. This one is called Double Take. I really love his image but for the life of me I cannot get her dress right lol. Oh well keep practicing.

I coloured her with Spectrum Noirs and Copics for the skin. Then I cut her out by hand.

The paper is from my scraps box, so not sure what range its from.

I wanted to keep it quite simple again, so I added a small piece of ribbon across the centre and put a diamante buckle on it.

Then I added a simple die cut Hello on to a scalloped oval, and two little ribbon flowers.

To finish the card I added a string of tiny pearls down the side.

Hope you like it. Take care, see you soon.

Mum

Good morning all and welcome to another Tuesday, they don't half come round quick lol, and it's April already. Wow.

Well today I can share with you the card I made for Mum for Mother's day on Sunday. It is very simple, but I liked it and more importantly so did Mum.

I die cut a heart out of white hammered card and then dug out some ribbon roses that we picked up in The Range a while back.

I spaced them out around the edge of the card and then used my trusty Cosmic Shimmer glue to stick them down.

I used a 6x6 card blank for the base and some pretty blue spotty paper from the stash as a background.

Then I added the heart and a little Mum word. To finish it off I tied a little elephant charm around the word.

I finally got around to buying some boxes for 6x6 cards, so I popped it in one of those to give to mum.

That's all from me today, see you soon, take care.
