Scott's birthday

Hello again.  Today I have a male birthday card to share with you.

This image is from a Lili of the Valley Art Pad called Action Time.  I love the blue and brown combination so dug through our papers to find something to match.

All the papers are also from an LOTV set called Winter Wishes and are matted with a chocolate brown card.

I used my favourite Lawn Fawn sentiment stamp - again! lol ;)

I intend to send this to our cousin's husband for his birthday on Friday.  Hope he likes it.

Baby snuggles

Welcome crafters.  Hope you're week is going well so far.

At the weekend Jen and I went to visit the newest member of the family, Master Seth.  Our cousin Sarah and her husband Scott were blessed with a beautiful little boy a couple of weeks ago.  Unfortunately due to illness we haven't been able to visit, but we made up for it!
He's rather yummy, tiny, cute, squidgable (that's a real word where babies are concerned, lol) and unfortunately very like several other family members!  His Mummy and Daddy think he's beautiful anyway, but I'm hoping he'll grow out of it ;)

Anyway we took along a card and a gift for Mummy, who is looking surprisingly well following the rather traumatic birth.  Seth was well on his way when he got stuck and an emergency section had to be performed.  Thankfully both he and Sarah were fine, just a little shocked by how quickly things can change.

Anyway on to the card.  The idea came from a card I spotted on Pinterest, and I adapted the style to suit a little boy.
I was going to put something like "if you think these wheels are expensive just wait until I'm 17 and I ask for a car!", but decided against it lol.

I love these Kaisercraft rub-ons, as you can make loads of sentiments from them.  Like this.........

....and this.............

and this!  This is a whole piece but you can cut up some of the sheets to make individual sections which makes them far more versatile.

So that's my make for today.  Hope you like it.

Wedding Wishes

Good morning all and welcome to the weekend. I'm off for a spot of pampering this morning, having my hair and nails done. It's about time lol. Hope you are all looking forward to a nice weekend.

Today's card is another that I made for Sarah and Scott's wedding on Thursday.

It's a very simple card but quite elegant I think.

The background is Centura Pearl white card embossed with a Sue Wilson embossing folder, called Entwined Hearts.

The frames and labels have been cut with some more Centura Pearl card, this time in lilac using the Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles dies.

I finished the card with some purple ribbon and bows, and stamped the sentiment with purple ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.

Hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by again. Enjoy your weekend.

See you soon.

The Wedding

Thanks for joining us again today.  I'm taking a break from cards to share a few photos I took at the wedding yesterday.
Our cousin Sarah married Scott and it was a lovely service.  Unfortunately the rain came down sideways and the wind was blowing at gale force until about 20 minutes before the wedding.  Then the rain stopped, the wind died down and the sun came out - just until we left the Town Hall then it started again!! We all got a little damp and wind swept lol.   Thankfully it didn't spoil the celebrations and the happy couple had a fabulous day.
Jen made some gorgeous cards which she will share with you but for now I'll leave you with a few snaps from the day.
