Awesome!

Well it's Monday and we are all back to work today.  Jen and Alan had a few extra days after me and I wish I'd taken them too!  Still only 5 weeks until I'm off again lol ;)

My card today is made with Ellie Awesome Sauce, which I have used before.  I love this quirky image!

The papers are My Girl from American Crafts and I've layered them with grey cardstock.

The sentiment is one of the first stamps I ever bought and is from Creative Expressions.  I thought it suited Ellie perfectly.

The moustache was stamped with Teal Staz-on ink, outlined with a Copic multi liner and cut out by hand.
I think it fits really well on this card.

I added a little bling to the bottom and that completed my card.

Hope you like it.  TTFN Jude xx

Time for tea

Hello peeps.  Hope you have a fabulously crafty weekend planned.

As Jen and Alan are away I have been home alone the last two evenings.  You would think that means undisturbed time to make a mess in the craft room, but NO!!  My mojo is definitely still on holiday and I've had to drag myself in there to make today's card.

As I couldn't think of what to do I fell back on a favourite layout style and a digi stamp I coloured a few weeks ago.

This is Mad March Hatter from Time for Tea Designs.  I used papers from American Crafts called My Girl and layered them with blue cardstock.

I added a ribbon and some pink bling then was stuck for what to do in the top left corner.

In the end I went with a bunting die from La La Land Crafts and gave it a bit more sparkle.

I'm pleased with this but I hope Mr Mojo returns before it's my turn to share again lol.

Hope you like it.  TTFN Jude xx

Wear With Style

Morning crafty friends, it's Monday again.  They soon come around don't they?

Over the weekend I was browsing some crafty blogs and found an image I really liked which had been bought from an Etsy shop.  Of course I had to go take a look and ended up purchasing the same set!  It is called Wear With Style and was purchased from All Dressed Up.  Do you like what I did with her?

The image was coloured with different shades of brown promarkers then cut out.  I knew I wanted to use her as a figure on her own and not on a matt so this is what I came up with.

I cut a dark brown adorning square matt to use behind my girl.  The paper is from an Amy Tangerine paper pad by American Crafts.  I loved the colour combinations.

The motif in the corner would have been covered by the matt so I carefully cut around the image with my craft knife and slid the square behind it.

The sentiment is my current favourite stamp.  It is really versatile and I have used it alot recently.  This was matted on to another piece of the orange paper and added to the matt.

The ribbon, button and twine are from our stash and were adhered with silicone glue.

I am very fond of this image and can see me using more of this style.  The card turned out better than I envisioned and will be used for my niece Staci's birthday next week.

Thats all from me today.  TTFN Jude xx
