A little bit of retail therapy

Good morning all, hope you are all looking forward to a crafty weekend. 

Jude and I had a little venture out yesterday to a new store that has opened in Sheffield. We now have a Range store which is great for Sheffield but not for our bank balances lol. But we were very good we only purchased a few bits and pieces and it is two doors away from Hobbycraft and we didn't even go in lol. 

But I did get a couple of little bits

From the new Curiosity Corner collection by Dovecrafts. I couldn't resist lol

Now I just need to find some time to play with them.

A Great day was had by all.....

Good morning folks, yes we really enjoyed our trip down to the GBCF yesterday. We had a lovely, expensive! and very tiring day. But we are both as giddy as kippers with our new crafty buys ;o))

 

Even for us, we both think that we may have gone just a smidgen over the top with stuff we really couldn't resist lol. But as I have said many many times before, a girl can never have too much craft stuff! Ha ha ha.

 

Because of the day trip and sorting homes for the new goodies, I didn't get a chance to finish my craft projects this weekend, so unfortunately I don't have anything to blog. But I thought you may like to see a couple of photos of the crafty buys :o))

 

 

 

I have been very patient waiting to buy the Bitty Blossoms die set, as I have wanted them for ages. But today they were on sale with only one set left, so I'm sure it was fate lol.

 

 

And I can never resist more jewellery making bits, so just had to get a few more beads!.

 

I'll leave the rest of the photo's for another time as Jude may like to show some lol.

Weekend report...

Good morning everyone. Hope you have all had a good weekend. Alan and I had a lovely time away. It made a really nice change for us to get to spend some time together. We stayed in a very nice hotel where all the staff were lovely, and we had an absolutely gorgeous meal at a Spanish tapas restaurant. All in all a very happy anniversary xxx

 

I also got the opportunity to visit a very lovely craft shop while we were away :o)) and of course the odd thing just happened to fall in to my basket (ahem) lol. If you haven't been before I can highly recommend, Fred Aldous in Manchester city centre. The shop is spread over 3 floors and is home to lots of wonderful craft and art supplies.

 

These are some of the bits I picked up :o))

I think I must have been a Magpie in a former life! as anything bright and shiny always catches my eye lol.
 

 

Anyway that's enough rambling from me today, It's back to work and hopefully I will get some time this week to have a play with my new toys ;o)
