Fight like a girl

Hurrah for Saturday!  I intend to have a nice lazy afternoon in the craft room playing with my new toys.

I took advantage of a sale at Bunny Zoe Crafts and bought a few more Copics lol.

Today's card is made using the latest cancer awareness digi from Saturated Canary.

This star die is another new acquisition from Marianne Design.  This is one of the new October releases.

Some simple layering and inked edges made this a quick and simple make.  Hope you like it.

Pretty Muddy

Morning folks.  Yes Jude again.  I may not be in any fit state to blog tomorrow as I'm off to do a 5km obstacle course to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

 

You may remember back in June my niece Kayleigh and I did the Race for Life 5k in Clumber Park.  This is another of the RfL events but with obstacles and MUD!!  My daughter Catherine is also joining in the fun.

I'm sure Jen will take pictures to share with you tomorrow as she and the rest of the family are coming along to laugh cheer us on.  Can I do it?  I don't know, but I'm definitely going to "give it a try".

Charity makes

Morning crafty friends.  Friday again - at last. 

Thanks to Jen for standing in for me yesterday.  I'm feeling better today so back to work I go - boo!

Tonight Mum is attending another dancing event to raise money for our local cancer hospital.  She asked if Jen and I could provide some Christmas cards to sell, so we got busy.

On our recent visit to the Great British Craft Festival, we received a couple of free Hunkydory kits.  I decided to use one of these to make my cards.

From two sheets of toppers, most of an A4 co-ordinating card and some assorted card blanks, I made 7 cards.

We have more of these kits so we have made quite a few more to send for the sale.
