Anything Goes Challenge #92 - Shaped but not Square

Morning folks.  Jude here to share another challenge from Anything Goes.

This time we would like to see shaped cards but........ not square!  So hearts, circles, diamonds, rhomboids, dodecahedrons - you name it you can enter it, but just remember for the purposes of this challenge square is NOT a shape lol x

I love shaped cards but don't often make them, so this has been fun for me to do.  I searched Pinterest and on't tinterweb for ideas and finally came across a baby card I loved.

Now this is also well timed as my friend Claire was due to give birth last week.  You'll be pleased to know that baby Ines was born safe and healthy just after 8pm on Sunday 5th May.  Only a week late but we'll forgive her :) Can't wait to go see her and have lovely new baby cuddles, just need to get over to Marple some time soon.

Now we didn't know what flavour little Ines was until she showed her pretty face but I felt I should make a little girl card for the challenge.  Happily I can now send this to Claire and Nico.  Had Ines been of the male variety I would have made another version in the appropriate hues ;)  I think her big brother Noah wanted a boy but I'm sure he'll get over it.

I started by tracing my bottle shape on to an 8x8 card and cutting it out.  I then chose some sweet papers I found in my stash to create the different parts of the bottle.  A sentiment, some bits of ribbon and a couple of charms and voila - a cute little card for a new born.

I really enjoyed this one.  Hope you like it too.
