Neigh, Oink, Moo....

Good morning all, I hope you have had a good weekend. We have had a quiet one for a change, so it's been nice to just chill out.

Today's card was one that I made for my Nephew for his birthday last month. I know he isn't a child anymore, but I just thought this new set from MFT Stamps (Party Animals), was so cute I couldn't resist, lol.

I stamped the images and coloured them with Copic markers, then cut them out by hand, as we don't have the matching dies (yet!!!).

For the background, I ink blended Distress Oxide inks on to plain card, and then added very subtle white clouds stencilled over the top, using Picket Fence distress ink and an MFT stencil. Then I added a few sprays and drops of Silver Glimmer Mist over the top.

I cut the MFT Sunburst Coverplate and inked a rainbow of colours over it, again with Distress Oxide inks, then I sealed it with Tim Holtz Distress Micro Glaze. I used the cut out pieces for another card that I will show you soon.

I added the backgrounds together onto a white note card and then arranged the animals on the front using foam tape. Then I added one of the sentiments from the Party Animals set to finish it off.

Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you soon.
