Anniversary wishes

Good morning all, I hope you are having a good week, and are looking forward to the weekend. Today's card is the one I made for my hubby Alan, for our 17th Wedding Anniversary earlier this month.

I used a heart stencil that came in one of my Wow Embossing members kits, and inked through it with Distress Oxide Inks.

I used Cracked Pistachio, Fossilized Amber and Squeezed Lemonade inks, just for a change of colour, as I do a lot of blue and pink etc.

I love this little heart and think the ombre ink effect really works well with it. I then cut the panel out using an Avery Elle Wonky Stitched Ellements die.

I used the Altenew Family Matters stamp set to create the first part of the sentiment, and then added the 'happy anniversary' using a Clearly Besotted stamp set called, Happy Anniversary.

I stamped the sentiments with Onyx Black Versafine ink, and then heat embossed them with clear embossing powder from Simon Says Stamp.

Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you next week.

Love you tons

Good morning folks, hope you are having a good week. Alan and I are both off work today as it is our 16th wedding anniversary, so we are going out for the day, not sure where lol, but then we are going for a nice meal tonight.

Anyway, today's card is the one I made to send to Alan. I used the Clearly Besotted Love You Tons stamp, and stamped it with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Then I coloured the image with Copic markers, added a little sentiment underneath, and then cut it out with a Lawn Fawn, Stitched Square die.

I wanted to keep the card quite simple, so I chose the large spotty Anniversary stamp from Clearly Besotted and then used a couple of the other words that are in the set to make my sentiment.

I decided to use a 7 x 5 card blank for a change, which meant I had the room to add a background. So I chose some simple black and white spotty card, and added mats behind the image and sentiment.

I didn't think it needed a lot else, so I added a red enamel heart to the image and left it at that.

Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you soon.

Anniversary Wishes

Good morning all, I hope you are having a good week. Today is definitely Hump day for me, I have to have a mouth biopsy today to check the diagnosis of oral Lichen Planus. So not my most favourite day ever lol ;0)

Anyway, this sweet little card is one I made for my niece and her husband as they celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary last week.

I used the two different sized Wonky Elements from Avery Elle for the background and main panel. Then I used the Clearly Besotted Bottoms Up set to stamp the wine glasses.

I stamped them with Versamark ink and then heat embossed them with Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder. As they don't have a matching die I just cut them out by hand.

The Anniversary die cut is also a Clearly Besotted set, called Happy Anniversary. I didn't want to use the stamp, so I did two die cuts and stuck them together for dimension, then wrote across the top with a white gel pen.

I stuck these on foam pads to the card panel and then stamped the rest of the sentiment with Memento ink. Then I just added a few gold and white sequins to finish it off.

Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you Friday.
