Foiled Deers and Mistletoe

Good morning crafty friends. I hope you are all well and having a good week.

I have two cards for you today, as they are virtually the same, just done in different colourways.

I got the Minc machine out for these and went for full on shimmer and shine lol. For the blue card I designed a pattern using Silhouette software and then printed it out with my Laserjet printer.

Then I used lots of little bits of leftover foil and ran it through the Minc to give me a random colour pattern.

Then using a Spellbinders Christmas die I cut two Reindeer's, one on the reverse so they could look at each other.

I love the pattern it gives to the reindeer, instead of just being one flat colour. Then I added lots of dots of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Silver Moondust to finish it off.

For the second card, I used some of the Heidi Swapp minc paper, and ran it through the machine using Rose Gold Deco Foil.

This gave me a rose gold and black chevron pattern, so I did the same again with the deer's and this time used a black and soft gold colour for the card.

The mistletoe is cut using a Cheery Lyn die, and for this card I cut it from some glossy black card.

The sentiment is a Clearly Besotted set, and again I cut it from the foiled and glossy cards.

I didn't think this one needed anymore bling lol, so apart from the noses, I left it as is.

Hope you like them, take care and I'll see you tomorrow.

Christmas Presents by Krumspring

Good morning all, and thank goodness it's Friday. Jude's op all went well yesterday, and she is now recovering at home.

Today's card is using the gorgeous presents stamp again from Krumspring Stamps. I do like to support small businesses when possible, and when I can combine that with my love of crafting, then all is good :O))

I stamped the presents with Versamark ink and then heat embossed them with SSS Rose Gold embossing powder. Then I coloured them all in with Copic Markers and some coloured Wink of Stella pens for that added sparkle.

I decided to used a square card for a change, so I used a mat of olive card and then a textured white for the front, and rounded the corners with a 1 inch corner punch.

The sentiment is a die that I picked up at a craft show last year, but I can't remember the make!. Anyway, I cut it out of white card and then while it was still in the die, I inked through it with green ink to highlight the words.

Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you next week.

Deer to Me

Good morning all, I hope you are having a good week.

Today's card was my first time using this sweet Clearly Besotted stamp and die set, called Deer to Me. We have had this one a few weeks but hadn't gotten around to using it yet.

I stamped and die cut three of the deer's and then coloured them with Copic markers.

I cut the background panel with an Avery Elle Wonky Stitches die and then used an Indigo Blue tree stamp to stamp the background.

Once the trees were dry I used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to blend over the top, to give a bit of colour showing through the trees. Then I went over some of the trees and branches with my Wink of Stella Clear Sparkle pen.

I added the little deer's using foam pads and then finished the card with a stamped Lawn Fawn sentiment and a few green gems.

Hope you like it, take care and Ill see you soon.

Wintry Tree Silhouette

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you are all well today. I have been a little under the weather this past week, but hopefully I am on the mend now. It's typical as soon as you have some time off work, you get ill !!!!

Anyway, you may have noticed an abundance of Christmas cards around, and I'm afraid we are no exception. It's that time of the year, where if we don't start now, we will still be making them on Christmas eve lol :o))

So today's card is a simple card that can be made quite quickly and could easily be changed to use for a different occasion. I started by cutting a piece of white card with an Avery Elle Wonky Stitched Frame.

Then I masked around the edges and blended Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Inks, to give me a wintry background.

Then I used a tree stamp from one of last years magazine freebies and stamped it to one side using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

I stamped the sentiment and snowflakes with the same ink and then just finished the card off with some tiny crystals on the snowflakes.

Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you soon.

Christmas Ornament Luka

Good morning folks, and welcome to November.

Well after days of sorting out the craft room and rearranging things, I finally found some time to actually make something!!!

The image is a rubber stamp from La La Land Crafts called Christmas Ornament Luka. I stamped it on to some light blue and pink coloured cardstock and then coloured the image with Copics.

The paper is from the stash and I backed it with very dark brown card and mounted it all on to a cream A5 card blank.

Then I used a couple of Cheery Lyn dies for the mistletoe and Merry Christmas banner. I added some glossy accents to the mistletoe and snowflake to give them some shine.

Then I added a few gems to finish it off.

Hope you like it. Take care and I'll see you soon.

Quick Christmas Card

Good morning , hope you are all well. The start of another week, they don't half come round quick these days lol.

Anyway today's card is a really quick and simple Christmas card. Or it would be for anyone else! but as my mojo is on walk about it took me ages lol. But the design should be very quick and simple.

I used a shaped 5 x 5 card and ran it through a diamond pattern embossing folder. Then I found a piece of pale green glittery card and ran this through the embossing folder too. I wasn't sure how it would look on the glittery card but it is really effective.

(Apologies for the shadow in this photo, that would be an Ebony cat lol ;o)) she came to nosy while I was taking the photos)
I cut the card to size and matted it with some silver mirror card. Then I found a couple of pieces of ribbon that matched and added these across the middle.

I cut the snowflakes from some more glitter card, this time in black and green. I stuck these down using a wet glue to stick to the glitter card and added a little clear gem in the middle.

To finish it off I found out a very tiny Merry Christmas stamp, which I have no idea where it came from, and stamped this on to white card and matted it with a small piece of silver card. Then I just added three more gems across the ribbon.

Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you soon.
