Hey There Hop Stuff!

Good morning folks and happy Good Friday, I hope you are all looking forward to the long weekend, and have some crafty plans in there too.

I wanted to make a card for Judes youngest, who will be 24 tomorrow!!!! and when I opened the March Simon Says Stamp card kit I knew I could use this set for one. I wanted to try the gingham check stamp and had this idea of a picnic blanket for the bunny to sit on.

I stamped the check stamp all over a white panel using a blue ink from the Altenew Deep Blue Seas set. Then I die cut a scalloped square from another white panel, and ran it back through the Bigshot using a We R Memory Keepers, 3d embossing folder.

This gave the panel the lovely weave effect, which I thought looked a bit like a picnic basket lol. I stamped the bunny and carrots, coloured them with Copic markers and then cut them out by hand.

I placed the check panel behind the embossed panel, and then sat the bunny and carrots in the die cut area.

I used one of the sentiments from the kit and then added another below on a small strip of the checked card, raised on foam tape.

Balloon bunnies

Hooray for Friday!

We have had these Balloon Bunny stamps and dies for a while but I have never used them.  They are made by Avery Elle and are part of a range which also includes a giraffe and a dog.

I stamped the balloon bunny in three shades of Memento ink - Angel Pink, Lulu Lavender and Rose Bud - then cut them with the matching dies.

I used a paper from the stash to add interest to both edges and raised the centre panel.

The balloon strings were hand drawn before I added a sentiment and small hearts stamp.

I actually added Mum to this (after taking the photos) and my granddaughters sent it to their mummy for Mother's Day.  I always go on the rabbit theme for their cards as they are called Warren lol :)

Two bunnies

Good morning all, hope you have had a good weekend. Ours has been busy again so not had time to get in the craftroom much but I did manage to finish a project that I will blog later in the week. 

Today's card is one I made right back at the beginning of July for Jude from her grandbabies. Their surname is Warren so she has always called them her little bunnies. 

So I searched through the stamps and found the bigger bunny on a Studio Calico set and the tiny bunny on a little Avery Elle set. I coloured them both with Copics and then cut the panel out with MFT Stamps stitched squares dies.

I layered this on to some bright pink card and some polkadot paper and put it all on a 6 x 6 card blank. 

I typed up the main sentiments on the computer and then printed them on to white card. Then I added in the 'from your' using stamps from a Molly Moo collection and Jet Black Archival ink. 

Then I added a Memory Box Precious Heart and a couple of punched hearts to finish it off.

Welcome little bunny

Good morning all and welcome to Friday. Hope you're having a good week and looking forward to the weekend. 

We have a family birthday this weekend, our 'little' brother is 35 on Sunday, so we are getting together tomorrow evening for too much food and drink, lol. 

Today's card is one I made for a friend of my daughter's, who had a new baby girl a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately she has been really poorly and there will probably be some struggles ahead for the family. But, she is now home with her mummy, daddy and big sister and is ready for lots of cuddles and kisses from new visitors.

The bunny image is from a Complete Cardmaking CD that I've had for ages. I printed it on to lightweight card and then cut it out with a circle die. 

The papers are a mixture from the stash, teamed with a dark pink Coredinations card. 

I wrote the sentiment on the PC and then cut it out with a smaller circle die. 

Then I added some sticky back lace, polkadot ribbon and some It's a girl ribbon.

Then I finished it off with three buttons, three little charms and some small googly eyes.

Seasons Greetings

Good morning all, hope you are well. I had a lovely birthday on Wednesday, was very spoilt and it was lovely to get all the family together for a meal in the evening. We had a really good time.

 

Today's card is another of the little bunny stamps that I got free on a magazine.

 

 

I coloured it with Promarkers and then cut it out by hand.

 

 

I added it to the card with some twisted rope and a couple of little Christmas tree pegs.

 

 

Then finished the card with a ready made sentiment.

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well. Welcome to another week. They are really flashing past now, before we know it, it will be Christmas lol xx

Today's card is another Christmas one. 

 

 

The papers are Graphic 45, as is the little tag.

 

 

The little bunny is a freebie stamp from a magazine coloured with Promarkers. 

 

 

The little stars are wooden painted gold.

 

 

I finished the card with a little tag and some shabby white Frantage.

Christmas comes early (again)

A few weeks ago Jen shared her first Christmas card, and now it's my turn.

 

In this month's Quick Cards Made Easy there is a free Some Bunny to Love decoupage set so that was the start of my card.  The background papers were also included and I thought they would look good on a stepper card.

I made up the decoupage with foam pads as we have hundreds and they don't get used much.  I prefer silicone but these are good enough. I then matted it on to an adhesive cork die cut.

The sentiment is matted on one of the papers also in the pack.

I added a bow and a snow flake embellishment.

When it was put together it looked a little bare so I added some red sparkle on the sentiment and across the bottom.
