Icy Blue

Good morning all, I hope you have all had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend.

Today's card is something a little different for me. It's quite dainty and delicate looking, two things of which I am neither lol ...😉

I used the Marianne, trees and houses border dies, together with the Avery Elle Stitched Border Trio, to make a little snowy scene.

I then used a Zig Zag Stitched Circle to cut out pale blue card, and used a Tonic Studios tiny snowflake punch in the background.

I layered all of this onto a Spellbinders Lacey Circle die, cut in white card and then popped them all on to a pale blue Stitched Rectangle mat on a white card base.

Then I used another small Tonic punch to punch the tiny penguin in the front. I finished it off with a Molly Moo Stamps sentiment on a Stitched Banner die cut, and a few snow droplets.

Sending Love

Good morning and happy Friday, hope you have all had a good week. I am really looking forward to the weekend as we are going to visit our grandsons in Runcorn. The eldest is 10 next week, so we are off to deliver cards and pressies :o))

Anyway, today's card is a simple anniversary card. 

I used a piece of watercoloured paper as the main panel and then added a couple of small envelope embellishments.

The main sentiment is from an Avery Elle set called Sending You and is stamped with Jet Black Archival ink.

I used a Sue Wilson Entwined Hearts embossing folder for the white panel and then backed this with a piece of blue Coredinations card. 

Then I used a couple of  Molly Moo stamps for the Happy Anniversary.

Oh Christmas Tree

Good morning all, hope you are having a good week. Today's cards are two I made using the same stamp and a couple of embossing folders. 

I started with the background card and cut a Christmas Tree frame from thick card to use while embossing the background. You lay the frame over the top of the embossing folder and this stops it embossing the whole thing.

Using this technique means you get a flat area of your card where you can stamp a sentiment or an image. 

For these cards I used a Marianne Designs Christmas Tree for the frame and a Creative Expressions stamp for the tree from their Let it Snow collection.

For this first card I used a sentiment stamp from JustRite from their Mix and Match Christmas Blessings set.

and for the second card I used a sentiment from a Molly Moo set. 

I stamped both cards with Versamark ink and then embossed one with Gold and the other with Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder from Ranger.

Then I added a couple of brads to the trees and the sentiment.

Have a mice birthday

Good morning all and welcome to December! Today is my youngest grandson's 7th birthday, and this is the card I made for him. Hope you have a great day Bailey John xxx

I got the idea from Pinterest but adapted it to fit my supplies. I've had these little mice heads for ages and didn't have a clue what to do with them, but they came in very handy for this card lol. 

I used a piece of white card and then cut several holes in it with a couple of different circle dies.

Then I inked it all with Mustard Seed and Scattered Straw Distress inks. I stamped the little mice from a Hero Arts set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. 

Then I made up the sentiment using stamps from a Molly Moo set and the Hero Arts Animal Messages set. 

Then I stuck the little heads in using Cosmic Shimmer glue. 

I thought it still needed a little something so I roped Jude in to Drawing me a couple of pieces of cheese and a cheese present lol.

Happy anniversary K and Ian xxx

Good morning all, today is my daughter and son-in-law's 4th wedding anniversary, and this is the card I have made for them. Happy anniversary K and Ian, hope you have a lovely day xxx

I used the Lawn Fawn Love You Tons stamps and dies for the main image. I stamped the elephants in London Fog Memento ink and coloured them with Copic markers.

I punched the little hearts out with a small punch and then stamped the 'Love You Tons' sentiment above them with Jet Black Archival ink. 

I used the MFT Stamps Stitched Squares dies for the centre and then added in a bit of the MFT Grassy Edges along the bottom. The patterned paper is from a Fantastic Foils paper pad and I found a coordinating card for the backing. 

The 'Happy Anniversary' stamp is from a Molly Moo set and the 'Daughter and Son-In-Law' is made up with some Crafters Companion Sentimentals stamps, with the small 'and' coming from a Simon Says Stamp set.

MFT Pretty Bows

Good morning all, hope you are having a good week. 

A quick post today as there isn't really a lot to say about this card. I used a bow from an MFT Stamps Blueprints set and cut it 6 times from different coloured card. 

Then I placed them on a piece of white card which I embossed with a Crafters Companion Patchwork embossing folder. 

I put all of this on a 7 x 5 pink card blank and then added little jewel flowers 

The sentiment stamp is from a Molly Moo set and is stamped with Rosebud Dew Drop ink.

Two bunnies

Good morning all, hope you have had a good weekend. Ours has been busy again so not had time to get in the craftroom much but I did manage to finish a project that I will blog later in the week. 

Today's card is one I made right back at the beginning of July for Jude from her grandbabies. Their surname is Warren so she has always called them her little bunnies. 

So I searched through the stamps and found the bigger bunny on a Studio Calico set and the tiny bunny on a little Avery Elle set. I coloured them both with Copics and then cut the panel out with MFT Stamps stitched squares dies.

I layered this on to some bright pink card and some polkadot paper and put it all on a 6 x 6 card blank. 

I typed up the main sentiments on the computer and then printed them on to white card. Then I added in the 'from your' using stamps from a Molly Moo collection and Jet Black Archival ink. 

Then I added a Memory Box Precious Heart and a couple of punched hearts to finish it off.

Happy birthday to you

Good morning all, today's card was a very simple but fun card to make. 

I used the Lawn Fawn Scripty Sayings stamp set, and stamped the Happy Birthday to you stamp 3 times on to strips of white card.

I used Rosebud Memento Dew Drop ink to stamp with to match the pink card I had chosen. 

The pink card has been in the stash forever, and I finally decided to get it out and use it. It has a very tactile finish to it. You would expect it to be rough but it isn't it's very smooth, almost like suede

I added the stamped strips to the pink background and then made up another strip with stamps from a Molly Moo set that has lots of different words on. I had to cut one of the stamps down as it said Dearest, but as we will probably never use that I didn't mind cutting it down to 'Dear'. 

Then I added some cardboard thickers to spell her name 'Izzy'

I raised this strip up on foam tape to make it stand out, and put it all on a 6 x 6 card blank.

Then I used the eraser part on the end of a pencil to stamp the dots all around the card. I used Rosebud and LuLu Lavender Dew Drop inks to coordinate.
