Make a wish

Morning all.  Hope our UK visitors enjoyed their day off yesterday -  even if it was the last bank holiday before Christmas!!
My card this morning is a simple one made to add to the pile taken by Mum to sell at a charity event last night.  Her friend's daughter has been battling breast cancer for a few years and recently was told that there were no further signs of the cancer.  Obviously this is brilliant news and the event was a way of raising some funds as a thank you to Weston Park Cancer Hospital, here in Sheffield.

I started with papers taken from the Molly Bloom set I purchased a few weeks ago.  Two of the co-ordinating sheets were cut to fit a 15cm square card.  The corners were rounded, edges inked with Scattered Straw distress ink and finished with faux stitching in a peachy Promarker (can't remember the name!)
The image was stamped on to plain white card, coloured with Promarkers and cut out.  I slit the cupcake so that the candle could be inserted and added the make a wish tag.  The edges of this were also darkened with the scattered straw and then layered on a third paper from the set.
An easy make for a Monday - what do you think?
