Baby Boy Blue

Good morning all and happy Hump day, or Wednesday, whichever you prefer lol. I hope you are all having a good week.

Today's card is the 2nd of the new baby boy's cards that I needed in the space of a couple of weeks. So I went back to the same style as the first one that I made, and just changed it up a bit.

For this version, I used Altenew Inks from the Sweet Dreams set, and the Concord & 9th Hugs and Kisses Turnabout Stamp. When I had stamped the hearts, I used a Spellbinders Circle die to cut them out, and then added the circle to a Stitched Rectangle die cut, using craft foam for Dimension.

The little elephant was made with different tones of blue Alcohol Ink, onto Yupo Paper, with a bit of Silver Mixative. I used an MFT Stamps Die from the Wild Things set to cut him out, and used a Cut and Make die to cut the sentiment from the same piece of Yupo Paper.

I added the panel to a blue note card, and then used some Nuvo - Calming Aqua and Caribbean Ocean Crystal Drops with some Sea Breeze Jewel Drops to finish it off.

Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you soon.

Hugs and Kisses

Good morning all, I hope you are having a good week. Today's card was made using the Hugs and Kisses Turnabout Stamps and Die set from Concord and 9th.

I started by stamping the images on to plain white card using Altenew Crisp Dye Inks, from the Cherry Blossom and Tropical Forest Collections.

Then I decided there was too much green so I used the coordinating die to cut out one of the turns instead. Then when I put the panel onto my note card, the pink background could show through.

I used the same pink inks to blend on to some scrap card, and then cut my sentiment from them, stacking them with plain white die-cuts for dimension. Then I finished the card off by adding some Nuvo Jewel Drops in Honeysuckle, Nuvo Dream Drops in Supernova, and some white gel pen dots to my sentiment.

Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you soon.

Baby Boy Card

Good morning all, I hope you have had a good week and are looking forward to a nice crafty, relaxing weekend.

Today's card is one I made for a new baby boy. I didn't want to go with traditional blue, so I decided on grey and yellow for a change.

For the background I used the Concord & 9th Hugs and Kisses Turnabout stamp, and inks from the Altenew Pocketful of Sunshine and Rock Collection sets. Then I cut the panel out with an MFT Stitched Rectangle die.

I used Ella and Friends from Mama Elephant for the die-cut image and sentiment, cutting the image from a silver patterned card from Tonic.

The little balloon is cut with yellow card using a WPlus9 Whole Lotta Happy die, and I stamped on the balloon using grey ink and stamps from magazine sets. Then I tied the balloon to the elephant using silver twine, and added the whole thing to a pale grey note card.

Hope you like it, take care and I'll see you soon.
