Last of the Christmas Cards

Good morning all, well it's New Years Eve, so nearly the end of another year. It hasn't been a good year for us so we are really hoping for a better year in 2015. Hope yours is better too.

So today, I thought I would put the rest of the Christmas cards on and get rid of them all in one go lol. Then we can start the new year without any Christmas bits and pieces. lol.

So there you go, that's just about all of the Christmas cards that I had left to show, hope you like them.  Whatever you are doing tonight, hope it's a happy time, take care and I'll see you in the New Year.

Scrap box sketch

Morning crafters.  Hope you aren't working too hard (unless it's in your craft space lol)

Jen and I are both off work this week so we are spending some time in the craft room.  Mainly web surfing looking for ideas (and bargains ;)) but making the occasional bit of crafty mess also.

As usual I have an overflowing scrap box and a lack of ideas so I turned to the trusted Mojo Monday sketch for this week.

I used some of the Christmas card left overs to make this.

What do you think?  This is a fabulously simple layout that would make an excellent base for any male card.  I think I may use this a lot.

That's all for today but I thought I'd leave you with a few pictures I took while we were out walking the dogs yesterday.

It was a beautiful sunny, but cold, day.

The dogs loved getting out for a run and playing in the snow.  I can't say Jen and I did any running!
It's quite difficult in wellies anyway ;) LOL!!

Take care.  TTFN Jude xx

Sister cards

Good morning all, hope you are well and having a good week. Some of us get a few days off now while others have to go back to work, but we all have new years eve to look forward to.

Today's cards are the ones I made for Jude from me and Alan and our brother John.

This one uses the Christmas basics paper pack from Papermania.

With the Spellbinders Frosty Forms stamps and dies.

The stamps are from the Justrite stamps Christmas set.

Everything is inked with Distress Inks and I finished it off with a Sister die.

This one is made using the wreath die from Xcut dies.

I have used the Justrite stamps again, but this time a different sentiment.

I decided to use a different colour scheme for a change so went with red and pale blue.

I used the patchwork embossing folder from Embossaliscious for the blue background.

Then used a co-ordinating paper and cut it out with an MFT die from Blueprints 13.

I added a couple of snowflakes, then finished off with a few clear gems.

and a sister die cut again.

Hope you like them, take care and I'll see you soon.

New goodies

Happy Sunday friends.

Well yesterday I dragged myself away from a busy day of doing nothing to make my first non-Christmas card in weeks!

I have used several of the lovely new products I received for Christmas.  I thought these colours of flowers were perfect to complement an image which was part of a free gift with Quick Cards Made Easy.

I took the photos last night so the pictures aren't very good but you should get the general idea lol.

Some of the images are pre-coloured so that made this a very quick card to make.

I used My Favourite Things Blueprints 15 for the die cuts along with embellishments from K & Co and The Hobby House.  A few pearls finished it off.

Hope you like it.

More family cards

Good morning blog friends. Hope you have had a lovely and peaceful Christmas. We have had a brilliant time but it has been very hectic and busy, so we are all ready for a break now lol.

Today's cards are more I made for family which needed to be posted.

They don't need a lot of explanation, so I'll just leave you with the rest of the pictures.

Hope you like them, take care and I'll see you soon.
