Beading time again

Good morning all, hope everything is well with you.

 

Today's post is about beads again. I know it's very sad but I do find beading quite therapeutic lol. I think it's the magpie in me that's attracted to all things shiny and pretty lol.

 

 

 

I made a few of these for my son's girlfriend when they were going to Thailand a few weeks ago, I absolutely love these pale pink pearls so I will definitely be trying to get some more of these :o)).

 

This last set I have made for Mum. I've also made a couple of sets for Jude and some for me :o)) but I forgot to photograph them, doh. So they will have to be a future post lol.

Keyring gifts

Good morning all and happy Tuesday. Well that weekend flew by quicker than I can spend money on craft ;o)) OK not quite but it went pretty quick. As Jude said yesterday Joe has eventually moved in to his new home, so we spent the weekend getting things sorted for the move. I saw Jude for a few mins last night and she assures me she is fine:o). It will be difficult these next few weeks while Joe gets settled and Jude finishes packing the house up to come to ours. But we will look after her and when she gets too mardy I'll pull her back into line as usual. Lol ROFL, I've never been able to do that so don't think it's likely to start now lol. 

Anyway enough waffling, these are the little gifts that Jude asked me to make for Joes school transport driver and escort. 

 

 

This first one was for Margaret, nice and girly,

 

 

and this one is for Bill.

 

 

I also made a couple of little gift boxes to put them in.

 

 

I don't make boxes very often but with the help of my Ultimate Pro they are really easy. So think I'll make a few more for little gifts instead of buying gift bags etc.

Lazy Sunday...

I wish lol. One of these weeks you never know :o)) but good morning all. Hope you are having a great weekend. I'm trying to get some time in the craft room today as its been on really short supply lately! Life just seems to get in the way ;o) lol. 

Anyway seen as how I haven't been able to do much this week and I still haven't got pics of all dad's cards! I will have to share some more jewellery today. Hope you don't mind. I love it so I just hope others do too.

These are a few quick makes using some beads and pearls that I bought at the NEC back in march. But I'm only just getting round to using them. Dead simple but really pretty.

New jewellery......

Good morning all. Hope you are having a good start to your week. I have been beading again so thought I'd share some with you today.

 

 

I bought these freshwater pearls a while back and I just love the green ones. I think they have made a lovely set. So I think these will be staying with me lol.

 

 

The others may end up as gifts but not sure who to yet!

 

I'm ranging between simple and fussy at the minute, not sure what sort of style I like best. But I know I really enjoy playing so that's all that matters ha ha.

Melt Pot Jewellery....

Good morning, how are you all today? hope you are enjoying your weekends so far. I'm taking Molly to the groomers this morning! sssshhhh don't tell her she will refuse to get in the car lol. But she needs it bless her. She's a typical Border Collie, loves been outside no matter what the weather is like, which means she is constantly filthy lol. And she hates being bathed at home even more than she hates going to the groomers! But she will forgive me eventually, (I hope) why is it always mum that's the bad guy ???? lol.

 

Anyway enough rambling from me. I don't have a card today as I have been jewellery making again and playing with the Melt Pot :o)) can it get any better? ;o)

 

 

So here are a couple of pieces that I've made that I think have turned out really nice. The beauty of using the melted UTEE is no two pieces are ever the same, as the marbling and colour variations are different with each one.

 

 

I also had a try at a couple of cameos, and I quite like it in purple.
